Three nice and smooth songs, kinda disco-funky, about love and emotions.

Time and Love released one record in 1984. Produced by Jacques Massard, a potato farmer from Marseilles who sold his crops and bought a bunch of synthesizers and a mic, and built a small studio in his barn.
"I don't care if you don't
don't do what you do."
His nephew sang the vocals, which were scribbled on potato leaves. (I wish this was true.)

A.G.F. is a sideproject of the guys from the group Mr. Flagio - Aldo De Scalzi, Flavio Vidulich and Giorgio Bacco - who released the most famous of the electro-ish Italo hits, 'Take a Chance' (see below).
I love the production on this track (as I do every release from those guys). The bass is sooo smooth and the synth is perfectly futuristic Fletch-y kinda themesquiggly. And it's about love...forever...so it can't go wrong.
Oh, and the a-bit-too-long instrumental parts of the song are wonderfully weird.

Material was Bill Laswell and Michael Beinhorn's semi-supergroup (started as a collective, but was also the name under which they produced stuff for Africa Bambaataa and others). But that's not the important part. What we want to know is that Material released the song 'Take A Chance', which was later covered by Mr. Flagio, who turned it into the Electro/Italo Disco superhit which it is. Yeah, IDM loving Bill Laswell!!! Material gave them a homemade bag with the structure and some of the elements (like, here is a chunk of chocolate and a spork) and Mr. Flagio added tons and tons of delicious stuff and made a self-evolving fifteen layer chocolate volcano with strawberry eclipses and cookie supernovas.
Although the cover is so much better, this one is fun to hear, especially if you like Mr. Flagio's version.

Wow, I didn't realize that "Take a Chance" was a cover! The original is strange but it's interesting to hear how it began as a Yaz-ish synthpop tune.

Yeah, exactly. The original is kinda weird, I'm not sure I would've liked it as much if I had never heard Mr. Flagio...
