Tabù D'Apache only released two records (which breaks my poor lil' heart), and their songs sound exactly like the records from the band which could've had the synthpoppish hit sometime in the late 80s, you know, the one which would've been in all the John Cusack movies, and bar scenes in Beverly Hills Cop and 48 hours, and later a contender for VH1's onehitwondershows. Everything was so right...but they never got famous.
The duo clearly had talent, but I think one of the main reasons for the quality is their producer, Romano Trevisani, the megabrain behind Max Him and numerous other Italo groups.
So so good.

Rofo's most famous song is probably 'Rofo's Theme' (which was on endless Rave compilations), but this is my favorite.
"It freaks me out
it freaks me in
I need to shout
sing and dance, all night long"
Word.
It starts as a regular synthpop track (whatever that means), but then this trancey synth says "uh, hi" and the guy starts singing and you know it's lovely.
And check out the typo on the cover. Flaslight. What's not to love?!
